I grew up in a small town in Kansas (population 3000 if you counted the cats & dogs) the youngest of 11 children. I lived there for the first 19 years of my life, then moved away...to New Mexico, England, upstate New York, Las Vegas, Guam, Massachusetts and have now settled in Salem, New Hampshire. Dorothy had it right, I am not in Kansas anymore!
Currently, I am a Registered Nurse and work as a Health Care Informatics Manager for a company based in Baltimore, Maryland. In this role, my primary responsibility is to train the health care professionals to use a specific type of medical documentation software. I travel Monday-Friday, returning home to New Hampshire on the weekends.
When I am home, I enjoy gardening and there is always a home improvement project being planned or implemented. My largest project to date was the design and construction of a 4 level deck, which almost resulted in the dissolution of my 30 year marriage!
I like to cook as long as I have tons of time and there is someone to do the dishes. I have two children (both at university) and two cats. I like to travel (well, sort of...)I like to go on vacation but prefer not to go to the same place twice.
